Shotgun Venus have been described as "Blondie on mescaline, somewhere
between Elastica and Nirvana".

Formed by Anna Tosh Hall in 2009, after growing tired of feigning humility as
guitarist/sidechick in other people's bands Venus's mission statement is
to get out of hell or die trying.

Tosh writes songs about death, sex and dreams. She sings and plays the
guitar. Herman Stephens bangs out the bass with his hood up,and Steve
Grainger smashes the drums with his head down. They are currently
tearing up live venues in the UK and preparing to record their first EP.
