About Us

HorizonVU Music, HVUM, represents the coming together of hopes and dreams – a dynamic, changing view toward the future which can be attained – with the love of music. The HorizonVU Music brand stands for honesty, professionalism, and execution. We are a serious company, but we also do our best to bring excitement and fun to the business.

We think of horizons in terms of where we are today and the direction in which our compass points us. Our focus on music provides us with a viewpoint – our VU-point (that is, Volume Units). As entrepreneurs with a passion for music, we provide services to talented musicians and customers searching for talent. These services include marketing and promotion, publishing, and in some cases, production and management. HorizonVU Music supports rock, alternative, and folk music.

Key Players

	Phillip A. CARTWRIGHT - Chief Executive Officer Phil has over twenty-five years of business and academic experience, working globally in the areas of market strategy and research. He has been a senior executive with two of the former Big Six firms engaging Fortune 500 clients and two of the largest global marketing research companies. His focus has been on the consumer, entertainment and technology sectors. He has exceptional academic standing having held posts at the University of Georgia, INSEAD, Imperial College and he is currently Professor of Economics at ESG MS in Paris. He is an Associate Member of The Recording Academy and HVUM is an Organizational Member of The Country Music Association. Raised in the Chicago area, he has lived in Paris, France for the past seventeen years.

	Rebecca NOBREGA - Media Writer, Design and Mode Rebecca was born on November 16th in Toronto, Ontario. As HorizonVU Music's Media Writer, Design and Mode, Rebecca is moving forward with her career interests which include marketing, design, and of course, styling (Rebecca is the daughter of famous stylist Sandra Hamill). She loves working and strives for success, but has other interests in fashion and music. She believes that both are a form of self-expression and defines who you are.

	Caroline NGUYEN - Intern, Marketing and Communication Caroline was born in July the 27th in a Paris suburb. She studies at the ESG Management School in the Bachelor of Business Management program. She’s intends to continue her studies to earn the a Master’s in communication, media and entertainment. Always fully involved in what she’s doing, she really likes her role in the BDA (Bureau des Arts) an association of ESG MS which promotes all sorts of arts events (music, dance, drawing, photography, theatre, literature…). She also had practices music and photography. What she enjoys the most is dancing. Besides her school hours, she works as a manager assistant in a small dance studio in Paris and now joins the team at HorizonVU Music.

Lucie RENEAU - Intern, Marketing and Communication Lucie Reneau has a birthday on August 14th. She lives in suburban Paris. She is currently a second-year Business student at the ESG Management School. She has travelled in many countries and is culturally very be open-minded. She likes meet people with different backgrounds or from different cultures. Lucie likes arts - music, paintings and cinema and she spends a lot of time in museums. Later, she wants to work in the world of advertising world, or maybe even in auditing - a very different world. Right now, she's very happy being part of the HorizonVU Music team.
