HorizonVU Music, HVUM, represents the coming together of hopes and dreams – a dynamic, changing view toward the future which can be attained – with the love of music. The HorizonVU Music brand stands for honesty, professionalism, and execution. We are a serious company, but we also do our best to bring excitement and fun to the business.
We think of horizons in terms of where we are today and the direction in which our compass points us. Our focus on music provides us with a viewpoint – our VU-point (that is, Volume Units). As entrepreneurs with a passion for music, we provide services to talented musicians and customers searching for talent. These services include marketing and promotion, coaching and communication development, publishing, and in some cases, production and management. HorizonVU Music supports rock, alternative, folk and country music.

Phillip A. CARTWRIGHT - Chief Executive Officer
Phil has over twenty-five years of business and academic experience, working globally in the areas of market strategy and research. He has been a senior executive with two of the former Big Six firms engaging Fortune 500 clients and two of the largest global marketing research companies. His focus has been on the consumer, entertainment and technology sectors. He has exceptional academic standing having held posts at the University of Georgia, INSEAD, Imperial College and he is currently Associate Professor of Economics at the American Graduate School in Paris. He is an Associate Member of The Recording Academy and HVUM is an Organizational Member of The Country Music Association. Raised in the Chicago area, he has lived in Paris, France for the past seventeen years. |

Milly Moo CHOWLES - Senior Editor
Milly Moo has responsibility for development and oversight of HVUM's on and off-line publications. She currently produces and presents a weekly radio program kin support of the indie music community and independent record labels. She has worked freelance in the music industry being involved with live music events, promoters and record labels since the late nineties. Milly is truly passionate about supporting new, unsigned and under the radar artists. She is studying toward her degree in radio production. |
